Each payment in Finup has its own status, which helps you understand at what stage the transaction is.

1. Approved

The payment was successfully processed and the funds were debited from the card balance. The transaction is complete and the payment went through.

2. Pending

The payment is being processed. This status may appear if:

- The merchant has not yet confirmed the transaction.

- The funds are temporarily reserved, but the final result of the payment has not been received.

In this case, the funds may either be debited or returned after the payment is approved or declined. Typically, the "Pending" status is updated within 3 days.

If the payment status "Pending" remains for too long, you can:

- Check the correctness of the entered details.

- Contact the merchant's support and clarify why the payment was not accepted.

- Contact Finup Support to clarify the details of the transaction.

If the transaction status does not change after 3 days, it is most likely that the funds will be returned.

3. Declined

The payment was not completed. Possible reasons:

- Insufficient funds on the card.

- Technical error during payment attempt.

- Incorrect card details entered.

If the transaction is declined, the funds are not debited, but a decline fee may be charged.
